A bit about me and my team.
I have a passion for crafting effortlessly stunning photographs that capture genuine emotions. With a keen sense of color and style, I narrate the unique tale of each wedding, embracing its moments of intimacy and joy, from the serene instances to the lively dance celebrations. I have a deep love for people, and I've been told that my smile is infectious!
After studying photography and marketing at Ithaca College, I moved to NYC to start a new adventure. That's where I fell in love with the photography industry. After living in New York City for nearly 20 years, I'm now splitting my time between NYC and San Francisco where my dashingly handsome (and wine-maker) fiance is from.
My lens has framed iconic NYC and global institutions like the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center and Hallmark as well as notable brands in the bridal world such as the Jenny Yoo Collection, the Suit Shop, Bari Jay Bridal and editorials and many covers of LoveInc Mag, and ads across Bridal Guide, The Knot and The New York Times.
My portfolio is diverse, spanning events, weddings, engagements, and portraits for artists like Janelle Monae, Jason Mraz, and even the beloved Elmo. You may have spotted my work on buses, buildings, banners, and media ads nationwide.
Beyond the camera, I enjoy spending time with my partner between both our NYC and San Francisco homes. We have a wanderlust and enjoy traveling the world. I am lucky to share my life with a talented winemaker (Minus Tide Wines) and often spend my time in the beautiful wine country north of the Bay Area where I get a lot of my inspiration.

Over the past 15 years I have been luck enough to work alongside and become lifelong friends with the creators I work beside. We pride ourselves in teamwork and getting personally involved in every project. JJ has built a solid team of photographers, videographers and post-production editors to deliver a gallery of artfully curated images to best represent your special day.
Studio manager
Katherine McClintic is JJ's studio manager who will help with all the logistics leading up to your event. She is JJ's right (and left) hand woman who will help secure COIs, settle a date and time for your shoot as well as get you your paperwork in order. She's a delight!
